#1: Our App Store Optimization (ASO) study

This new study analyzed 1,000+ apps on the iOS App Store and Android Play Store. Here are just a few of its findings:

Star ratings don't seem to affect rankings in the App Store or Play Store. But the number of reviews is closely correlated with rankings.
Top-ranking apps usually include the keyword in their name. As well as the symbols "-", ":" or "&".
App pricing doesn't appear to affect rankings.
